A married mother with one child she has been a part of Irebe Baskets for over 2 years and is a committed communal artisan who has improved her life and family through the production of traditional Baskets – over the years she has humbly saved managing to move from a rented house to building a home for herself and dependants.
Muhawenimana is also keen about helping other weaving mothers grow their lives by teaching them life survival skills like tailoring. The mother is now able to support her family by making baskets and selling them as part of the Irebe collective and they have enough to eat and meet their daily basic needs
